He added, “I can understand that you need to change with time and evolve. Lekin kya gaali dena aage badhna hai? Whatever is happening in the west, you want to do that here. The west is looking at the culture of the east. Our culture and traditions are the oldest. We have so many amazing things in our culture and without knowing that, you have to blindly follow the west. In their culture, they use the F word a lot and so it doesn’t seem unnatural in their shows and content. It’s not that here. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: ‘Initially we felt as if we were shooting in a hospital,’ says Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal on resuming the shoot

Just like other serials, the makers of popular show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah have resumed the shooting of the show and from tonight we will see the fresh episodes of the comic caper. While we are excited to see the new episodes, actor Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal revealed his experience of shooting amid COVID-19 crisis and told ETimes, “We have changed the entire process of shooting on the sets because it is not possible to shoot with so many people during this pandemic. We also have a huge technical staff and they also have to take precautions. They are sanitizing their hands, wearing masks. In fact, when we first started shooting post the lockdown for the first two days we felt as if we were shooting in a hospital as there was a strong smell of sanitizers around, everyone was wearing masks. We wondered how to do comedy. But I feel the situation is such that we can’t do anything and we have to adapt to it. We try our level best that all this shouldn’t harm the work and people should get entertained like before.” Also Read – #BLBestOf6: Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah wins HANDS DOWN the Best TV show in the first half of 2020, sailing past Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke

Talking about the precautions, he said, “We have a huge star cast so we have to take extra precautions and shoot. Even if we try and work with few actors then also we have enough people on set because of our star cast. We are lucky that we have enough space with us on our sets to maintain social distancing. Asit bhai our producer has made good arrangements on the sets, he has got sanitizers on sets every few metres. Our makeup room gets sanitized before we arrive, then before our lunch break and post lunch also. The indoor set where we shoot that also gets sanitized. Our entire staff is very cooperative, they all wear masks while shooting. We obviously can’t wear them during shooting, we actors are at high risk as we don’t have any option. We will have to take it off while we give our shot and once the director says cut we again wear it.” Also Read – Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal once played Delnaaz Irani’s on-screen husband — read deets

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Mandar Chandwadkar aka Bhide REVEALS the most mischievous person on set, and it’s not Tapu

Dilip Joshi and Disha Vakani starrer Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been the all-time favourite show of many. The show has a huge fan following and we can go on watching all the episodes of the show on repeat. The show is also a medium of stress relief and we enjoying watching all the characters of the show. We have loved all the characters from the show and they have been a part of our life. We have been in the show that Tapu is the most mischievous person in the show and keeps doing something that annoys Aatmaram Bhide in the show. Bhide keeps on pointing out Tapu’s mistakes and complaints to Jethalal about it. However, in real-life, Mandar Chandwadkar who plays Bhide in the show has a completely different response when asked about the most mischievous person on set. Yes, Mandar Chandwadkar aka Bhide revealed who is the most mischievous on set and shockingly its not Tapu but his father. It is our favourite ‘Tapu Ke Papa’ aka Jethalal who is the most mischievous in real-life. In an interview with the Times of India, Mandar Chandwadkar aka Bhide revealed that Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal is the most mischievous. He said, “Most of the funny scenes that are shown, like Bhide’s fight with Jethalal, it is Dilip ji’s idea. He is the brain behind all those naughty things. Dilip bhai is the one who suggests all the witty improvisations in the script and it turns out to be hilarious. But, it cannot be denied that such funny ideas pop-up only if the person is mischievous in real-life. Though Dilip bhai seems to be a serious actor, he is extremely naught in real-life.” Also Read – Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Did you know Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal was earlier a part of another Asit Modi show?
