Shah Rukh Khan who is the Founder of Red Chillies Entertainment took to his Twitter handle to mourn the loss of one of his old friends, Abhijeet. He called him his solid Ally and mourned his demise and extended condolences towards his family and friends. Abhijeet was one of the first members to join Red Chillies Entertainment. The official handle of the production house tweeted out the news after which Shah Rukh expressed his grief. “The loss of one of the first team members of the Red Chillies family, Abhijeet, leaves an irreplaceable void in our hearts. We will miss him and his reassuring presence around us. May his soul rest in peace. Our sincere condolences to his family and friends,” the production house’s official Twitter handle wrote. Retweeting the same, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “We all started the journey of making films with Dreamz Unlimited. Abhijeet was my most resilient & solid ally. V did some good, some wrong but always believed v will sail through because strong team members like him were there to look after the rest of us. Talking about Red Chillies Entertainment, it was earlier known as Dreamz Unlimited 1999 and was founded by Shah Rukh, Juhi Chawla and Aziz Mirza. They went on to produce films like Asoka, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Chalte Chalte which did not meet the expectations. In 2003, Gauri Khan joined the venture and changed it to Red Chillies Entertainment. Main Hoon Na was the first film made under the banner after re-branding.

Since them, they have made films like Om Shanti Om, My Name Is Khan, Ra.One, Chennai Express, Dear Zindagi, Raees, Ittefaq to name a few.
