On the work front, Deepika Padukone will be next seen in Kabir Khan‘s ’83, which also features husband Ranveer Singh in a lead role. Talking about the actress coming on board, director Kabir Khan earlier told us, “I think the background, the fact that her dad, Prakash Padukone was a sports superstar, that influenced her very strongly. It wasn’t because Deepika had agreed to do the film that I wrote the role. Deepika liked the role, and that’s why she agreed to do the film. We never initially intended it that way (Deepika being a part of the film), and as Deepika said, there’s a certain support role that the family plays, and I wanted to capture that, which is why I wrote the character of Romi, and when I narrated it to Deepika, I knew it was a small role. So, I said to Deepika, ‘Just listen to the film. If you like it, you’ll come on board, if not, you won’t come on board. She heard the film, and she knew it was about the team and the boys and Kapil. But, she just loved the script and so, she came on board.” Also Read – Brahmastra actress Mouni Roy on lockdown in Abu Dhabi: I have been stuck here with four days’ clothes

Kartik Aaryan asked fans if he should trim his beard, but it was Deepika Padukone who dropped by with the cutest response

Kartik Aaryan has been really active on social media ever since lockdown came into effect, and has been having interactive sessions with his fans nineteen to the dozen. In fact, we’re willing to bet anything that he has neither been so active on social media nor has he interacted with his fans to such an extent like he has been doing ever since we’ve all gone under quarantine. And we’re sure that his fans, of whom there are several, couldn’t be happier. Also Read – Mother’s Day 2020: Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma pen heartfelt notes

That’s not to the only change to have come over Kartik Aaryan though post lockdown. As his appearances on social media have burgeoned so as the length and thickness of his beard. Now there would be nothing wrong with that had it been nicely styled or had at least not grown in such an unruly, unkempt manner. We get the whole embracing you true self and the ‘your body, your choice’ thing, but frankly speaking, that beard is just untidy. Apparently, the actor’s mother, too, agrees with us as the actor revealed in his latest Instagram live session that his mother is none too pleased with his bearded look, and has issued an ultimatum that he either get rid of it or no more food would be served to him. So, to solve this dilemma, Kartik decided to ask his fans live whether he should trim his beard or not? Not surprisingly, most suggested that he ought to listen to his mother. However, the comment that caught everyone’s attention, was the one left by Deepika Padukone, who popped up on Kartik’s live feed and simply left a cute, little emoji of a girl raising her hand, indicating that she, too, would prefer he get rid of the beard. Check it out below:

However, celebrity stylist Anaita Shroff Adjania didn’t agree with Deepika as she wrote in the comments section: “Learn cooking instead if family isn’t giving food.” Well, what do you think: Should Kartik Aaryan trim his beard or not? Let us know by tweeting @bollywood_life

Earlier, Imtiaz Ali had also penned down a heartfelt message remembering Rishi Kapoor. He posted a picture of the veteran actor on Instagram and wrote,”Time is passing. The other day he was on my set. I was nervous, he was the biggest actor I had worked with. I touched his feet and asked him to guide me. He guided me. Another day I invited him to my brother’s wedding in Kashmir. Nobody comes so far, these are formalities. He came. And when the baraat was entering the venue he said -“you guys go in front, I will come in the end”. I understood later that he did not want the attention to shift from the groom to himself. And today he left. Something precious became past today. But this time will not take him away. I haven’t met him for so long anyway, I will think he is still there, smiling. And I can still think of the little time I could spend with him, and smile with him.” Also Read – Kareena Kapoor visits Neetu, Ranbir and Riddhima’s residence amidst lockdown — view pic
