On the work front, Deepika Padukone was gearing up for 83 alongside her husband, Ranveer Singh who fronted the Kabir Khan’s directed biographical sports-drama film. It was supposed to release on 10 April but due to lockdown, the makers pushed the release of the film indefinitely. Next, Deepika has a coming-of-age romantic drama film alongside Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi. She heaped praises for the director, Shakun Batra saying, “I love the kind of films he (Shakun) enjoys watching as a person and as a director, films that he is influenced by. They are totally the kind of films I have always enjoyed watching as an audience and as an actor, the kind of films that I love being part of which is just people and relationships. The idea is simple but it’s really about moments. Which is why I am looking forward to this film because it’s exactly that. I mean yes of-course there is a story and a narrative but every scene is delicious and there is so much for us to do in it.”
