Maharaj Ki Jai Ho actor Satyajeet Dubey’s mother tests positive for COVID-19, opens up on struggling to find a hospital bed

Coronavirus is a major concern everywhere right now. Every day, new patients are being registered who are tested positive for the novel coronavirus. It’s unstoppable and the number is just increasing which is a huge concern for everyone across the country right now. Despite being in lockdown, the number doesn’t seem to drop. Prassthanam actor Satyajeet Dubey who was until recently seen in Maharaj Ki Jai Ho revealed that his mother has been tested positive for Coronavirus. While it has been a huge shock for them, the actor has been sharing his experience and answering questions of people who are worried. Satyajeet Dubey revealed that his mother had been complaining of severe migraine, fever and body ache for a few days and hence he took her to the local doctor who insisted on testing for coronavirus. It is then that they came to know that she is showing the symptoms of COVID-19. He opened up on the same, in an interview with Hindustan Times. Satyajeet said that it is difficult to know as to what triggers the same or reason for the contraction of the deadly virus. “You can’t pinpoint where it came from. I spoke to the doctor, who said ‘You or your sister could be the carriers, or somebody in the building, or even a currency note’. But, my sister and I’ve been absolutely fine. We’re asymptomatic, and so we’re not supposed to test as per the BMC guidelines,” he told the daily. Further, the Jhansi Ki Rani actor opened up as to how it is difficult to find a bed at the hospital in these trying times. “As a son, I wanted to give her the best in terms of comfort. But, if you go through the normal channel, it’s next to impossible to find a bed in hospitals right now. Thank God for the kind of work I do, and the people I work with — I had to call a few people and pull some strings, and people were kind enough to say, ’You don’t worry about it, we will help’, and they did,” Satyajeet added.
