Kurup: Dulquer Salmaan gives an Eid treat to fans by sharing his stylish look as notorious criminal Sukumar Kurrupu

The handsome hunk of the entertainment industry, Dulquer Salmaan gave an eid treat to fans by sharing the second look of his upcoming biographical criminal drama, Kurup. Ideally, the film was supposed to release today but due to coronavirus pandemic, it got delayed indefinitely. The actor shared the stylish poster and wrote, “Here’s a little surprise for Eid ! Another poster from our most ambitious “Kurup” ! In an ideal world today the film would have released in theatres all over. For those who didn”t know – Sukumar Kurrupu was one of the most wanted criminals of Kerala. He was responsible for the brutal murder of Chacko, a celebrity. Allegedly, to claim money on his own death, Sukumar decided to kill Chacko who bore a resemblance to the murderer. He fled from the scene post this incident, but the conspirators involved – the driver and brother-in-law were cuaght and sentenced to life imprisonment. This criminal has been on the run ever since. In the judicial history of Kerala, this case is one of the most famous ones. The case grabbed attention, when a Sukumar look-alike had been allegedly spotted. Three years back, Dulquer had confirmed the project on Facebook, where he wrote, “So at long last. Nearly 6 years later I reunite with my brother Srinath Rajendran the director of my debut film Second Show for a very ambitious film. I think we’ve discussed this during Second Show. But I guess everything has its own time. Early 2018 we hope to go on the floors with this film. And it’s something I’m super super thrilled about. Happy to share this with all of you.”
