Dulquer Salmaan apologises for hurting the sentiments of Tamil audience through Varane Avashyamund

Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan’s maiden production venture, Varane Avashyamund, which released in February, turned out to be a huge box office hit. The film is now currently streaming on an OTT platform but has garnered controversy as a scene in the film, where the lead actor Suresh Gopi calls his dog Prabhakara, which is a reference to the character played by Thilakan in Pattana Pravesham. That scene didn’t go well with the fans they started trolling DQ and his family on social media. The actor apologised on his Twitter as he tweeted, ” To all those who were offended. I apologise. And I also apologise on behalf of #VaraneAvashyamund and @DQsWayfarerFilm.” Also Read – Sonam Kapoor REVEALS how she fell in love with Anand Ahuja through an emotional post; he responds in the cutest way
