After helping migrant workers reach their homes, Sonu Sood now airlifts 177 girls stuck in Kerala

Actor Sonu Sood is winning our hearts through his noble gesture, where he helped the migrant workers from Mumbai to reach their home. The actor arranged buses and started a toll-free number to make sure that he does best to help the migrant workers. While the actor has been termed as ‘messiah’ on social media, he has another noble yet tough task as he airlifted 177 girls, who were stuck in Ernakulam, Kerala. These ladies used to do embroidery and stitching work at a local factory and had nowhere to go post the shutdown of their workplace due to COVID-19. A source close to Sonu Sood told TOI, “Sonu was informed about the same by a close friend from Bhubaneswar and he decided to take charge of the situation and do his best for the girls. He started the process by taking several permissions from the government to have Kochi and Bhubaneswar airport to be operated. A special aircraft has been called from Bangalore to airlift these girls from Kochi who will be now taken to Bhubaneswar so they can finally reunite with their families. The Dabangg actor explained the reason of helping migrant workers as he told ANI, “I was deeply saddened to see them walking with their little children on foot. These are the people who built our houses, our offices, they have laid the roads, and I feel that we should not leave them in such distress. I thought that I have to come forward to help them and that is why I personally spoke to the governments, local as well as state, and got the arrangements done.”

Shehnaaz Gill has been one of the most entertaining contestants of Bigg Boss 13. The actress who entered the show on the first day went on to become the second runner up of the season. Shehnaaz is also one helluva drama queen. The Punjabi Katrina Kaif who was last seen in Mujhse Shaadi Karoge was looking forward to meeting fans and dishing ut selfies and autographs but her plans were chopped due to Coronavirus pandemic and the actress has left no stone unturned to curse the ghastly disease which has been claiming lives. In the video shared by Shehnaaz Gill, we can see the actress clad in a dupatta. She begins by narrating her ordeal as how she was planning to sign autographs and click pictures with her fans which was ruined by the COVID-19 lockdown. She goes on to curse the pandemic saying, “tujhe kisi desh mein jagah na mile,” (I hope you don’t get any place in the country which hints at her hope that the disease soon disappears. Meanwhile, the actress opened up on doing Mujhse Shaadi Karoge after Bigg Boss 13. “I have become worldly-wise and mature after participating in Bigg Boss. Mujhe duniyadaari ki samajh aa gayi hai (I have matured and understood the ways of the world). While Bigg Boss was my dream, my heart wasn’t in Mujhse Shaadi Karoge. After a point, I was irritated about guys coming on the show to appease and impress me. I regret taking up that show,” Shehnaaz told TOI.

The actress who is in love with her co-contestant, Sidharth Shukla opened up on her equation with him saying, “He is a friend. I get to learn a lot from him and he is protective of me. Koi kuch bhi bole usse mujhe farak nahi padta. Abhi bhi friends hain, I think aagey bhi friends hi rahenge.”
